Department Overview The Human Resources department at Children's partners with the employees and the managerial staff to provide services such as recruitment and staffing, employee services (benefit, compensation, retirement, and payroll processing), labor relations, HRIS program development and implementation, and organizational development. The Talent Acquisition (TA) Department as part of HR, serves as a strategic workforce partner responsible for attracting, recruiting, and pre-boarding top talent to support Children's Minnesota's mission of delivering exceptional pediatric healthcare. The team drives workforce planning, recruitment strategy, employer branding, HR compliance, provider recruitment, sourcing, candidate experience, and talent pipeline development across clinical, non-clinical, leadership, provider and contingent roles.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in high school or equivalent OR enrolled in/graduated from applicable educational program/secondary education.
  • Proficient communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English to perform functions of the position.
  • Skills in basic computer operation.

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources major or similar preferred.
  • Administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in various recruitment assignments and projects of varying complexity, including pipelining candidates, tracking and auditing conversions, and attending events.
  • Gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform within their chosen career.
  • Receive training and mentorship in planning and carrying out assignments.
