About The Position

The Human Resource Support Specialist will assist with complex and specialized administrative tasks including, managing and overseeing records, and generating reports to support effective and efficient operations of the human resource department. The HR Support Specialist acts with personal, professional, and behavioral integrity-maintaining strict confidentiality of all department and system information. He/She is expected to provide exceptional customer and consultative service in order to answer questions about organizational policies, procedures, processes, benefits, and HR services. He/She completes projects and tasks as assigned by the Chief Human Resources Officer, Employee Relations Manager, or HR Operations Director.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • De-escalation training completed by the end of position orientation (90 days)
  • Appropriate level of de-escalation training
  • Three years of office experience preferred
  • At least one year in human resources highly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge and skill in utilizing Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Accurate numeric and alpha/numeric data entry skills
  • Willingness to learn and remain current on technology, skills, and relevant HR policies, procedures, processes, and programs
  • Ability to adapt to particular conditions, situations and people
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures and populations
  • Valid driver license

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Epic, or other electronic medical record experience, preferred
  • Employee providing his/her own transportation for travel throughout the SRHS service area
