About The Position

This internship is ideal for a student interested in recruiting, candidate experience, and HR systems administration. The HR Summer Intern will support the Human Resources team with recruiting activities, candidate communication, and job description maintenance. This role is designed for a college student seeking hands-on experience in talent acquisition and HR operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Must have completed 2+ years of college coursework in a relevant field.
  • English proficiency at a professional level is required for speaking, reading, and writing.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning HR systems.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to federal contractor requirements, including ITAR/FAR compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems or HR software, including UKG.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting and sourcing candidates through job boards, referrals, and other talent channels.
  • Review resumes and help identify qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Respond to candidates in a timely, professional manner and coordinate follow-up communication.
  • Support interview scheduling and candidate status updates.
  • Update job descriptions and relevant competencies in the UKG system.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate recruiting records and HR documentation.
  • Support additional HR projects as needed.
