About The Position

This position will work Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30, and rotate administrative weekend call with other team members. The HR Staffing Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and screening Caregiver applications, conducting phone and in-person interviews, extending offers, and coordinating orientation schedules. This role also facilitates pre-employment activities such as background screening, drug screening, and professional reference checks. Additionally, the specialist will assist with administrative tasks including file management, HRIS data entry, and routine correspondence, while providing exceptional customer service and representing the organization positively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in HR support role, preferably human service related field.
  • Working knowledge and experience with recruitment, personnel policies, scheduling, compliance, record keeping and other fundamental HR administrative functions.
  • Demonstrated experience with database and electronic record keeping.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize a large workload.
  • Professional and collaborative written and verbal communication.
  • Time Management and prioritization of tasks and priorities.
  • Diplomatic problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Adaptability to change and operational movement.
  • Emotional intelligence and regulated approach to completing tasks.
  • Demonstrates compassion, empathy, and patience when interacting with patients, families, co-workers, and members of the public.

Responsibilities

  • Source and screen Caregiver applications.
