We have an immediate opportunity for a full-time Human Resources Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for providing onsite administrative support to Stellar’s HR department at our headquarters located in Moraine, OH.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in Human Resources with an understanding of HR concepts and/or associate's degree or higher.
  • General knowledge of labor and employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
  • Ability to be discreet and confidential with sensitive information.
  • Should be confident and self‐motivated.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills along with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a DoD, Military, or Federal Government environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processes and procedures for onboarding new employees and conducting orientations.
  • Conduct I-9 verification through E-Verify process and maintain filing system.
  • Conduct out processing/offboarding upon employees’ departure.
  • Conduct and provide trends regarding exit interview information.
  • Maintain personnel records and employee certifications, in compliance with HR regulations.
  • Compile spreadsheets and reports from personnel databases.
  • Review and update HR information system records.
  • Assist in enforcing company policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Communicate and answer any employee questions timely though email, via phone, or in person.
  • Attend and participate in required meetings.
  • Assist with filing and other general duties as directed by the Director of HR.
