About The Position

With a career at The Home Depot, you can be yourself and also be part of something bigger. Position Purpose: Interpret company HR policies and procedures, laws and regulations. May perform duties in any of the following functional areas of HR, EEO/AAP, Staffing, Compensation/Benefits, Training, Organizational Development, and Employee Relations. Implement and communicate company wide initiatives and programs. May perform project work as necessary.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with word processing software.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, and employment laws and regulations.
  • Skilled at conflict resolution
  • Using systematic approaches

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in responding to third party litigation
  • Experience in representing a company in unemployment hearings.
  • Experience in administering compensation programs
  • Experience in administering a company's corrective action process
  • Experience in delivering formal class room training

Responsibilities

  • Conduct employee realtions investigations and fact finding.
  • Assist line management with MSS related training and transaction support.
  • Assist HR Manager in delivering Leadership Training
  • Assist in the selection of Leadership positions
  • Assist in the communicationand enrollment process of employee benefits programs
  • Interpret and provide guidance on corporate policy and call center practices
