This is a position-specific recruitment for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Human Resource Services. This recruitment will be used to fill current vacancies for the position and may be used to fill future vacancies in the same classification/function. The resulting eligible list will be maintained for one year. The main purpose of this job is to support HR operations for agency units by assisting with a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment and staffing activities, employment services, employee benefits administration, and other HR support tasks. Under the guidance of experienced HR staff, the incumbent develops knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and practices while providing customer service to employees and management. The position offers opportunities to gain hands-on experience, contribute to effective service delivery, and support agency workforce and operational goals. Individuals in this role will learn to compile, analyze and evaluate HR related information and recommend actions based upon rules, regulations, policies, guidelines and precedents.
