About The Position

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. (LGESMI) develops and manufactures large lithium-ion polymer batteries and packs for electric vehicle (EV) and energy storage applications. As a HR Specialist I, you’ll support a broad range of Human Resources functions in HR Planning Team. The HR Specialist I will work closely with HR team, business leaders and employees to support HR needs, implement HR programs and policies. This role also requires support and upkeep of HR systems within the organization including but not limited to, HRIS, ADP, and Success Factors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience
• 1 to 3+ years of related experience within HR
• Experience with ADP and other HCM/HRIS products with multiple modules preferred
• MS Office Suite and excellent knowledge of MS Excel
• Attention to detail and data validation abilities
• Multi-tasking
• Time Management

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR questions and policies
• Assist with organizational changes, employee transfers and other transactions
• Assist performance management process
• Support maintaining employee records, HRIS updates and HR documentation
• Support employee relations matters including employee concerns and workplace investigations
• Support recruitment activities and onboarding process
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, and corporate events
• Perform other duties as assigned
