About The Position

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking to add a part-time team member to our Human Resources Department. This person will manage assist with staff recruitment, special projects and administrative tasks related to People and Operations for our Association. We are looking for a candidate that is available to work Monday through Friday. This part time position starts at $20.00 per hour, and up to 25 hours a week.

Requirements

  • High school degree or its equivalent
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Team, Sharepoint, One Drive).
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Detail-Oriented with strong follow through and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, volunteers and prospective candidates.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Preferred experience with HRIS and workforce management systems (UKG preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned candidate phone screens using a rubric to measure position fit.
  • Support Directors with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire documentation and background checks.
  • Ability to perform clerical and administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, inventory management and distribution of staff materials.
