HR Representative
About The Position
Rite of Passage Team is hiring an HR Representative at Miami Youth Academy in Miami, FL. Miami Youth Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for male youth aged 14 to 18. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based substance abuse services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while in the program. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. As an HR Representative, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, and TB test.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree
- One year of human resources experience in employee relations, training, and/or employment
- Knowledge of Federal and State employment law, Human Resources policies and practices, and governmental licensing requirements
- Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to interview potential employees if required.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of all Human Resources functions for the site to ensure that the Human Resources goals and objectives are met.
