HR & Recruitment Specialist
About The Position
Venture Forthe is seeking an HR & Recruitment Specialist to help recruit, welcome, and support Personal Care Attendants who provide its Colorado home care services. This hands-on role combines recruiting, onboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement. The specialist will work closely with the Colorado team to help candidates become confident and prepared members of the workforce. The position also supports administrative needs in a growing office and may involve occasional field shift coverage after required training and competencies are completed. The role offers a direct connection to the people served by the agency, opportunities to contribute ideas and build relationships, and the chance to help shape hiring and onboarding in the growing Colorado office.
Requirements
- An associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field and at least one year of recruiting or HR experience; OR at least two years of relevant recruiting, HR, onboarding, or employee training experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
- An approachable style and the ability to explain information clearly.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and electronic recordkeeping systems.
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance for required local travel.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home care, healthcare, or human services.
- Experience interviewing candidates, facilitating orientation, or coordinating training.
Responsibilities
- Recruit Personal Care Attendants, conduct interviews, and keep applicants engaged throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate onboarding, facilitate portions of orientation, and guide new hires through required paperwork and training.
- Track hiring requirements, training completion, and employee records.
- Check in with new employees, answer routine questions, and contribute to employee recognition and retention efforts.
- Participate in job fairs, recruitment events, and local outreach.
- Assist with administrative needs in the office.
- Provide occasional field shift coverage after completing required training and competencies.
