About The Position

We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (i.e. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner, has familiarity with all related acronyms (EE, FTE, EEOC, SHRM, etc.) and some experience with documentation of disciplinary actions as well as following procedures to properly document any complaints. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our HR department supports our employees while conforming to labor laws.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Human Resources or relevant field a plus
  • Experience with Paycom a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain personnel records.
  • Update internal databases (i.e. record sick or other types of leave)
  • Complete HR documents
  • Revise company policies as directed.
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
  • Schedule external partners in for open enrollment and one-on-one employee meetings for assistance with benefit questions
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
  • Answer employees’ queries about HR-related issues.
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules)
  • Process expense forms.
  • Maintain appropriate employee onboarding, disciplinary and other HR-related documents in an orderly fashion according to HR procedures/Labor law.
  • Ensures that all necessary documentation relating to HR-related complaints is acquired, signed, and recorded appropriately.
  • Participate in HR projects (i.e. help organize a job fair event)
