About The Position

The HR Recruiter is responsible for leading B&G’s recruitment and talent acquisition efforts across all operating divisions. The position is critical to ensure B&G attracts, hires, and retains qualified employees who align with the company’s operational needs, safety culture, and long-term growth objectives. The HR Recruiter will support B&G’s core operating divisions including Pigging, Hydrovacuum, Roll Off, Side Dump, Pipeline Construction, and Roustabout by developing effective recruitment strategies, managing candidate pipelines, coordinating hiring activities, and partnering with divisional leaders to identify and fill workforce needs. Value add activities include building strong candidate networks, improving recruitment processes, enhancing employee retention initiatives, supporting workforce planning efforts, and promoting B&G’s culture and employment brand within the communities we serve.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of recruiting or human resources experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

  • Knowledge of employment laws, hiring practices, and recruitment processes.
  • Three years or more of related experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting within Oil & Gas, Construction, Transportation, Industrial Services, or related industries preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for recruiting and staffing activities across all B&G operating divisions.
  • Partners with Division Managers and operational leaders to identify current and future staffing requirements.
  • Develops and executes recruiting strategies to attract qualified field and administrative personnel.
  • Sources, screens, interviews, and evaluates candidates for employment opportunities.
  • Coordinates and manages the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting through onboarding.
  • Maintains applicant tracking systems, candidate records, and recruitment metrics.
  • Leads with a strong ethical mindset and promotes B&G’s culture of Safety.
  • Builds relationships with technical schools, workforce development organizations, community groups, and industry contacts to support recruiting efforts.
  • Attends job fairs, recruiting events, career expos, and community outreach events representing B&G Oilfield Services.
  • Collaborates with Human Resources and Operations leadership to support employee retention initiatives.
  • Identifies recruitment challenges and recommends solutions to improve hiring efficiency and candidate quality.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the hiring process.
  • Assists with onboarding activities and ensures a positive candidate and new employee experience.
  • Presents weekly and monthly reports detailing recruiting activity, staffing levels, hiring metrics, and workforce trends.
  • Maintains knowledge of labor market conditions, recruiting trends, and workforce opportunities within the oilfield services industry.
  • Issue and track all Flame Resistant (FR) clothing and required personal protective equipment (PPE) for new field employees in accordance with B&G safety requirements.
  • Coordinate FR clothing orders with approved vendors and maintain adequate inventory levels to support operational staffing needs.
  • Pick up, distribute, and track FR clothing orders for field personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of FR clothing issuance, exchanges, replacements, and employee acknowledgements.
  • Work closely with Division Managers and Safety personnel to ensure employees are equipped with the appropriate FR clothing and PPE required for their assigned duties.
