About The Position

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the onsite Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for the full cycle recruiting; sourcing, screening, interviewing, consulting with department leaders, extending job offers and onboarding new hires. Additionally, the Recruiter assists with the development, implementation, administration, training, tracking and communication of all human resources policies and programs including employment, employee records, and benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related required.
  • Three – five years of experience with the full cycle of recruiting and on-boarding new hire employees required. Hospital/Healthcare setting required.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required. Must possess superb problem solving and multi-tasking skills with effectively communicate skills, both verbal and in writing.
  • Must be able to work in a very fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent computer skills required. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Three – five years of Human Resources experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting of assigned departments: sourcing, screening, interviewing, consulting with department managers, negotiating, extending job offers and new hire on-boarding, including conducting appropriate background and driving record checks.
  • Coordinates with department managers to forecast future hiring needs.
  • Participates in job fairs and career events.
  • Prepares new hire employee files and orientation packets as needed.
  • Responsible for facilitating the new hire orientation process.
  • Monitors and addresses employee moral by informally maintaining regular contact with various departments and employees to elicit employees’ opinions, feelings, and suggestions. Informs the HR Manager of critical observations and conclusions.
  • Coordinates and/or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation.
  • Assists in the administration, monitoring and tracking of licensure (primary source verification), performance evaluations and annual training.
  • Completes routine HR file audits and assists with audits for The Joint Commission, licensing, and regulatory agencies.
  • Maintains confidentiality of staff and Hospital as required by HIPAA and other federal and state regulations.
  • Assists in the organizational training and staff development efforts, maintains records and reports.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends, employment legislation, federal and state regulations to ensure the Hospital’s compliance.
  • Supports staff and leadership to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on all human resources matters.
  • Provides back-up support to all positions in the HR department.
  • Supports and complies with all corporate and facility initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Participates on committees and special projects as needed.
  • Attends Hospital mandatory training/in-services as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
