About The Position

Bethlehem Construction is seeking a Human Resource Recruiter to join the team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees must follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe work environment and the production of high-quality products. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers. Talent Sourcing: Identify and attract candidates through social media, professional networks, job boards, and referrals. Strategy and Branding: Develop recruitment strategies, build a candidate pipeline, and promote the company culture. Create and update compelling job descriptions and post openings across various platforms. Provide candidate shortlists, manage offer letters, discuss compensation, and conduct background checks. Lead and supervise the routine functions of the HR and Administrative team. Collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues. Responsible for maintaining and managing the company's workers' compensation program. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital. Nurture a positive working environment. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Maintain benefits program. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs. Management report and provide decision support through HR metrics. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance. Responsible for achieving set goals for the HR Department. Manage Safety meetings and implement safety strategies. Partner with leadership on safety programs, enforcing policies, and evaluating practices to ensure compliance with legal guidelines, training, and initiatives. Maintain OSHA compliance. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager or Senior Generalist
  • People-oriented and results-driven
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
  • Excellent active listening skills, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and regulations and HR Best practices
  • Knowledge of HR software and databases such as Bamboo HR and SageCRE, preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • At least three years of human resource experience preferred in manufacturing or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a Workers' Compensation role
