The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to support staffing needs across the hospital. This role partners closely with department leaders to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates for clinical and non-clinical positions, ensuring timely and compliant hiring practices in alignment with organizational goals. The recruiter develops and executes effective sourcing strategies, screens candidates, coordinates interviews, and facilitates the offer and onboarding process. This position plays a key role in maintaining a positive candidate experience while ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements, including those related to healthcare compliance and credentialing. Additionally, the Healthcare Recruiter monitors recruitment metrics, supports workforce planning initiatives, and contributes to retention efforts by helping identify candidates who align with the organization's culture and patient care standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • experience in a position which requires a broad understanding of operations flow, delivery of business services, and the impact on the customer and corporate deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to identify needs, make recommendations, and implement solutions to improve and enhance the work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and develop creative approaches to align solutions with business needs
  • Clear and concise verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with all levels of management and employees
  • Establishment and maintenance of solid working relationships and networks with various levels of employees and management
  • Strategic thinker with strong consulting, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of Access, Word, and Excel
  • Understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Training and team facilitation experience and skills
  • Familiar with Federal and State employment and labor laws
