Responsible for overseeing the recruiting and onboarding efforts within the company and ensuring the hiring of the best possible talent. Duties include but are not limited to phone answering, typing of letters, notes etc., copying, filing, and mail distribution and communication boards. Greets all associates in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, advising managers, managing relocations and internship programs. Demonstrates and provides outstanding customer and employee relations at all times. Oversees the licensing process on new hires, re-hires, and renewals to ensure proper execution and compliance. Effectively communicates employee policies and procedures. Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times. This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Responsible for working closely with the Compensation and Benefits Supervisor to ensure competitive compensation packages and make recommendations regarding job description. Maintains and updates orientation program and documents as needed Screening resumes and performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates and making recommendations to company hiring managers. Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport. Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants using various sources, like job fairs, social media networks, job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites. Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements. Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; arranging community tours. Manages intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching. Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
