We’re looking for an organized, people-focused HR & Payroll Coordinator to support the Human Resources team at our Ramsey manufacturing facility. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and takes pride in creating a positive employee experience from onboarding through day-to-day support. You’ll play a key role in supporting employees, keeping HR processes running smoothly, and helping foster an engaged and safe workplace culture.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of HR and/or payroll experience
  • Someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and willing to take on new challenges
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred
  • Experience with Workday and UKG strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for employees by answering HR, payroll, benefits, and policy-related questions
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll, including maintaining UKG timekeeping records and ensuring accurate payroll documentation
  • Coordinate leaves of absence, including paperwork, communication, tracking, and return-to-work processes
  • Help plan and support employee engagement activities and events throughout the year
  • Assist with recruiting efforts including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews
  • Support the new hire process, including background checks, drug testing, onboarding communication, and orientation
  • Complete HRIS transactions accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with employee training initiatives as needed
  • Provide administrative support including filing, communication creation, and posting employee notices
  • Partner with leadership to support safety initiatives and promote a safe working environment
  • Support special projects and additional HR initiatives as assigned
