About The Position

Pond's Plumbing, a growing, locally owned plumbing and HVAC company, is seeking a detail-oriented HR & Payroll Administrator to manage people operations and payroll for their team. The role involves running semi-monthly payroll, managing HR systems, leading recruitment and onboarding, administering benefits, and supporting accounting tasks.

Requirements

2+ years of HR generalist and/or payroll administration experience
Comfortable managing payroll and compliance across multiple entities
High discretion with confidential employee and financial information
Strong organizational skills and follow-through on recurring deadlines

Nice To Haves

Experience with an HRIS platform (BambooHR, Employee Navigator, or similar)
Experience leading or coordinating a small team

Responsibilities

Run semi-monthly payroll for two entities, including timesheets, tax filings, and 401(k) contributions
Manage the BambooHR and Employee Navigator systems
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
Administer employee benefits, including managing open enrollment
Manage leave-of-absence requests, pay increases, and employee concern resolution
Coordinate safety meetings and monthly compliance drug testing
Maintain company policies and procedures
Support day-to-day accounting tasks such as deposits, petty cash, and reconciliations
Coordinate fleet-related administration, including fuel accounts, GPS, and windshield/glass repair scheduling
Provide light office administration support as needed
