About The Position

Merit Landscape Solutions is looking for an experienced, hands-on HR Partner to support our teams across Texas. This role provides day-to-day HR support across five branches and helps ensure our people processes run smoothly and consistently. The ideal candidate will build trust quickly, stay organized in a fast-moving environment, and enjoy supporting field-based teams.

Requirements

HR Generalist, HR Partner, or comparable hands-on HR experience.
Experience with recruiting, employee relations, payroll, onboarding, and HR administration.
Spanish-speaking required.
Strong attention to detail and comfort with employee data and reporting.
Ability to build trusted relationships with employees and leaders at all levels.
Ability to work in-office and travel locally to branches as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting multiple locations, branches, or field-based teams.
Experience with ADP preferred.
H-2B program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day HR support across five branches.
Partner with branch leadership on recruiting, critical staffing needs, and workforce planning.
Support employee relations and help leaders navigate day-to-day people matters.
Process and support payroll activities.
Coordinate with Benefits Administration (BA) to support new-hire onboarding.
Assist with annual open enrollment and employee benefit communications.
Coordinate employee surveys and support follow-up initiatives.
Execute company-wide and local HR programs.
Maintain accurate employee information in ADP.
Prepare HR reports and maintain employee data.
Provide local administrative support across the Houston branches.
Help ensure compliance with applicable employment requirements and company policies.
Travel to local branches as needed to build relationships and provide hands-on HR support.
