About The Position

We are hiring an HR Operations & Payroll Coordinator to manage core HR processes and ensure accurate, compliant payroll execution. You must understand end-to-end HR operations (onboarding → employee lifecycle → exit formalities), payroll structure (earnings, deductions, statutory components), attendance, leave, and timesheet management, compliance requirements (PF, ESI, TDS, labor laws), and HRMS tools and data management. This role is execution-focused.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in HR Operations and Payroll
  • Strong understanding of payroll structure and statutory compliance
  • Experience with HRMS/payroll software (e.g., Zoho Payroll, GreytHR, Keka, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality handling
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage timelines and multiple tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Experience handling multi-location or global payroll
  • Knowledge of labor law compliance and audits
  • Exposure to HR analytics and reporting
  • Experience with automation tools or AI-assisted HR workflows
  • Background in HR, Commerce, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and HR records
  • Process monthly payroll with accuracy and timelines
  • Handle statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, PT, etc.)
  • Maintain attendance, leave, and timesheet data
  • Generate payroll reports, payslips, and compliance filings
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll and HR operations
  • Ensure data accuracy and audit readiness
  • Coordinate with finance, vendors, and leadership teams
  • Use HR tools/automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
