Job Summary We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to lead and optimize our core HR operational functions, including Payroll, Time & Attendance, Leave Administration, Benefits, and HRIS. This role serves as the operational backbone of the HR function. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all HR systems and processes while partnering closely with Finance, site leadership, and the broader HR team to deliver a seamless employee experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of progressive HR operations experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-state payroll and benefits administration
  • Strong working knowledge of wage and hour laws, leave regulations, and ACA compliance
  • Strong hands-on experience with UKG preferred, including payroll, time & attendance configuration, reporting, and system administration
  • Experience with HiBob preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Payroll Lead end-to-end multi-state payroll processing with precision and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations
  • Partner with Finance on reconciliations, reporting, audits, and internal controls
  • Manage payroll vendor relationships and system integrations
  • Own and administer timekeeping systems and processes
  • Ensure accurate tracking of hours, overtime, and pay differentials
  • Monitor compliance and partner with operations leaders to resolve discrepancies
  • Manage health, welfare, retirement, and ancillary benefit programs
  • Lead annual open enrollment and employee benefit communications
  • Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and related regulations
  • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements
  • Oversee FMLA, state and local leaves, ADA accommodations, and company leave programs
  • Ensure compliant documentation and accurate tracking of protected leave
  • Serve as internal subject matter expert on leave-related regulations
  • Serve as system owner for UKG and HiBob, including payroll, time configuration, reporting, and system administration
  • Maintain data integrity and system security
  • Lead system enhancements and process optimization initiatives
  • Develop reporting and analytics to support operational decision-making
