About The Position

We’re seeking a hands-on HR Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and partner closely with senior HR leadership. This role has broad responsibility across payroll, employee relations, performance management, recruiting, benefits, compliance, onboarding, and HRIS administration, with a strong focus on implementing and optimizing Rippling. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants significant ownership today and a clear path toward broader Global HR Manager or HR Director-level responsibility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Generalist, HRBP, or HR Manager responsibilities.
  • Hands-on Rippling implementation experience required.
  • Strong payroll experience.
  • Hands-on full-cycle recruiting experience across professional, technical, or corporate roles.
  • Strong performance management experience, including review cycles, manager coaching, corrective action, and PIPs.
  • Experience with employee relations, benefits, onboarding, compliance, and HR policy.
  • HRIS implementation experience including configuration, data migration, workflows, testing, and go-live.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, wage-and-hour regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Ability to independently advise employees and managers and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of Rippling, including HRIS setup, employee data migration, workflows, payroll configuration, benefits, onboarding, testing, and go-live support.
  • Own biweekly payroll processing and ensure accuracy across earnings, deductions, taxes, and employee changes.
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and serve as a resource to employees and managers.
  • Lead and support full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and improve recruiting effectiveness.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding, employee changes, background checks, and terminations.
  • Handle employee-relations matters and advise managers on policies, documentation, corrective action, and workplace issues.
  • Own performance management, including goal setting, review cycles, manager coaching, documentation, performance improvement plans, and follow-up.
  • Support benefits administration, enrollment, employee questions, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
  • Generate HR, payroll, recruiting, headcount, performance, and compliance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and wage-and-hour requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, policies, and employee experience.
  • Partner with senior HR leadership on broader HR initiatives and special projects.
