About The Position

The HR Manager will provide recruiting support to each department through job postings, interview process, and placement. This role is responsible for coordinating all phases of the onboarding process, including associate file building and compliance with all documents. The HR Manager will also oversee compliance with the performance review process and deadlines, support associates with the benefit program and coordination, and assist managers and associates with problem resolutions. Additionally, the role involves monitoring compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as established policies and procedures, and supporting retention and engagement efforts for each hotel. The HR Manager will provide feedback on performance management topics, from PIPs to correction actions, and ensure full understanding and support of the 5 driver culture from an HR perspective. Any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management will also be performed.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a standard office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (6-8 hours a day).
  • Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing, and operating office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10–25 pounds as needed (e.g., files, office supplies).
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials including close visual focus for extended periods and color differentiation (for certain roles).
  • Ability to hear and participate in conversations and meetings, use phone and/or headset.
