About The Position

Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo Downtown is hiring a Front Office Manager to lead our guest service team who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. The FOM directs and guides the activities of the Front Desk and Guest Services to create a special welcoming and memorable experience for our guests.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • Prior hotel front desk experience or supervisory experience a must.
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills, good problem-solving ability and proficiency in hotel property management systems.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Hilton experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Front Office staff, ensuring accurate communication and follow-up on any problems, guest requests, and special requirements.
  • Ensure the smooth registration and cashiering functions of the Front Office.
  • Reviews daily arrivals, group needs, and room assignments and coordinates with the Housekeeping Department.
  • Resolve customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Acts in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction, and well-being of hotel guests and employees when senior management is not available.
