About The Position

CORMAC is seeking an experienced and adaptable HR Manager to oversee and focus on Employee Engagement and Learning Management in a fully remote environment. This role is both strategic and hands‑on, partnering closely with leadership and managers to drive people initiatives, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure effective HR practices that support business goals and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4-6 years of proven working experience as HR Manager, HR Generalist, or other senior HR role in Information Technology (IT)/Software/Consulting industry
  • Hands‑on experience managing an LMS
  • Experience working with, engaging, and managing employees in a remote environment
  • Ability to develop strategic HR initiatives while providing hands-on HR leadership
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, and presentation
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all organizational levels
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, aPHR, or comparable professional HR certification

Responsibilities

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing employee inquiries & needs
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action plans
  • Foster and maintain a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment
  • Support current and future business needs through effective workforce planning, employee engagement, development, and retention strategies
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Analyze training and engagement data and present insights to leadership
  • Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including content, access, reporting, and compliance tracking
  • Partner with leaders to assess learning needs and align training with business goals
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Develop recognition, wellness, and culture‑building programs
  • Oversee benefits programs and enrollment
  • Support recruiting and hiring processes
  • Oversee onboarding to ensure timely completion of HR documentation and required trainings
  • Advise and support managers on employee evaluations, coaching, and development plans
  • Provide HR insights to leadership to support data‑driven decision making
  • Assess organizational training needs and develop, implement, and evaluate training and development programs
  • Perform hands‑on HR administrative tasks to support daily operations, as needed
