About The Position

We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on HR Manager, US & Global HR Business Partner for Sales to help scale a high-growth, global AI software company. This is a dual-impact role. First, you will serve as the primary People lead for our US-based employees across all functions. Second, you will act as the global HR Business Partner for our Sales organization, supporting leaders and teams across the US, UK, Europe, and APAC. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong operational HR judgment with business partnership, talent acquisition, coaching, and organizational scaling experience. You will support every stage of the employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to manager development, performance management, employee relations, culture, and compliance. Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a high-growth software, SaaS, AI, defense technology, or advanced technology company.
  • Experience serving as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a global, multi-site environment.
  • Strong understanding of the US employment environment, including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR operations.
  • Proven ability to partner with Sales or go-to-market organizations in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, stakeholder alignment, offer negotiation, and closing candidates.
  • Strong coaching skills with experience advising executives, managers, and emerging leaders.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on and execution-oriented.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and communication skills.
  • Comfort working across time zones with global teams and culturally diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work from the Washington, DC office 3 days per week.

  • Experience supporting global Sales teams across the US, UK, Europe, and APAC.
  • Experience in an AI, agentic AI, data intelligence, SaaS, cybersecurity, defense technology, or government technology company.
  • Experience supporting a company with US government customers or regulated operating environments.
  • Experience working with organizations that hold or are pursuing a Facility Clearance, including familiarity with cleared operations, security-sensitive hiring, or FOCI-related considerations.
  • Experience recruiting candidates with active or prior US security clearances.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for all US-based employees across departments.
  • Act as the global HRBP for the Sales organization, supporting revenue leaders and teams across multiple regions.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to align people strategy with growth priorities, talent needs, performance goals, and organizational design.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to executives and managers on leadership, team effectiveness, performance, communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, role design, and team scaling in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Partner with global People colleagues to ensure consistency across regions while adapting to local business and cultural needs.
  • Lead and support performance management cycles, ensuring feedback is clear, actionable, and aligned with company goals.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for US-based roles and global Sales positions, from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, interview plans, and selection criteria.
  • Source, engage, and close high-caliber talent in competitive AI, SaaS, software, and government technology markets.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience that reflects the company’s pace, ambition, and culture.
  • Build structured, scalable onboarding programs that help new hires ramp quickly into the company, product, culture, and sales methodology.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement and leadership to ensure commercial hires understand the company’s value proposition, operating model, and performance expectations.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for US employee relations matters, handling issues with sound judgment, empathy, discretion, and compliance.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of US employment law and ensure local policies, practices, and employee documentation remain compliant.
  • Support global HR operations and administrative processes in partnership with the broader People team.
  • Help develop, implement, and maintain policies that support a high-performance, values-driven culture.
  • Support compensation, promotions, organizational changes, and employee lifecycle processes in partnership with leadership and People Operations.
  • Where relevant, support HR processes connected to US government, cleared, or regulated business environments.
  • Help shape a high-performance, mission-driven culture suited for a fast-scaling AI company.
  • Develop local and global engagement initiatives that strengthen connection, accountability, manager effectiveness, and employee experience.
  • Partner with leaders to reinforce company values, operating principles, and performance expectations.
  • Support change management as the company scales globally and expands its US presence.
  • Identify organizational friction points and proactively recommend practical, scalable solutions.
