The Part-Time HR Leave and Accommodations Specialist is responsible for coordinating employee leave programs and workplace accommodations in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and County policies. This position serves as the primary point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding leave administration, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Workman’s Comp and related leave programs. Work involves reviewing leave requests, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, communicating with employees and supervisors, and supporting an employee-centered leave process while protecting organizational compliance and consistency. The HR Leave and Accommodation Specialist will work closely with the HR team and provides support as needed with HR related tasks. Flexible, hybrid work schedule up to 20 hours/week, Monday through Friday.
