About The Position

Polaris Inc. offers a tailored, paid 12-week summer internship for emerging juniors and seniors interested in a career in Human Resources. The program provides meaningful HR experience, helps interns explore HR career paths, and builds foundational capabilities for future leadership opportunities. Interns are placed on one HR team according to business needs and individual interests. Potential assignments include HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or Center of Excellence roles, with placements across listed locations in Minnesota, Alabama, and Idaho. Interns should be adaptable and open to placement opportunities. Successful interns may be considered for a returning internship or a position in Polaris’s rotational leadership development program, based on performance, business needs, and demonstrated potential. The internship includes project work and structured programming: mentorship with a Polaris associate, weekly Leader Insight Series sessions, networking with peers and leaders, an Intern Innovation Challenge, a two-day Early Talent Summit in Wyoming, Minnesota, community engagement opportunities, and an Internship Showcase for senior leaders. The internship requires 40 hours per week for 12 weeks, within one of the specified 2027 date ranges. The Minnesota starting pay range is $21.50 to $31.50 per hour, with eligibility for overtime. Eligible interns working more than 35 miles from their assigned location may receive relocation support, which may include a stipend and help securing temporary housing. Interns are responsible for daily transportation to and from work.
