Requirements

  • Obtaining a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration (Human Resources, Communications, Psychology).
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Ability to work across cultures.
  • Good conceptual and analytical thinking.
  • Effective working within a team.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently.

  • Interest in gaining hands-on HR experience with a focus in the recruiting life-cycle of hourly production hiring.
  • Data driven individual with excellent excel capabilities.
  • Driven to learn and understand various open jobs.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset with the ability to pivot and improve processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to approximately 1000 manufacturing employees working on 3 different shifts.
  • Gain hands-on HR experience with a focus in the recruiting life-cycle of hourly production hiring.
  • Collect and analyze data using Excel.
  • Create job flyers and on-the-job videos to support the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Improve processes.
  • Problem solve and ensure follow-up and resolution for employee issues.
