About The Position

Enlightened, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team for a six-month contract assignment. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional aiming to broaden their practical experience across various HR domains within a dynamic and collaborative setting. The HR Generalist will provide support for daily HR operations and manage the employee lifecycle, encompassing employee records, HRIS administration, compliance, employee assistance, and HR programs and procedures.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now is required.
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Assist with onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and other HR transactions.
Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and general HR questions.
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
Maintain employee information and process transactions within ADP Workforce Now.
Assist with HR reporting, data management, and documentation.
Handle employee information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Partner with HR leadership to address employee-related questions and resolve routine HR matters.
Support additional HR initiatives and projects as needed.
