About The Position

GHJ Search and Staffing serves as the recruitment division of GHJ, a prominent national accounting and advisory firm. Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential. A globally connected organization is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to lead all people operations for its North American office. This is a high-impact, standalone role supporting ~60+ employees, ideal for someone who enjoys full ownership across HR, recruiting, and employee experience while partnering with an international parent company.

Requirements

~5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a standalone or small team environment
Experience supporting similar-sized organizations (~50–100 employees) or larger environments with broad responsibility
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and internationally
Self-starter who is confident operating independently and building processes

Responsibilities

Serve as the sole HR lead, managing all day-to-day HR operations for the Atlanta office
Own full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
Drive employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives
Partner with leadership on HR strategy, policies, and organizational needs
Collaborate regularly with the global HR team in Europe to ensure alignment with company policies
Maintain compliance with HR regulations and best practices
Support performance management, employee relations, and culture-building efforts
