About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate the development, implementation and administration of Human Resources policies and programs across the company. Major areas covered include associate relations, talent management and development, policy & procedure maintenance, associate communication, training, compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and counsel to managers in handling difficult and sensitive associate relations issues. Review cases of serious violations of company rules governing associate conduct and recommend actions appropriate for conflict resolution, including disciplinary action.
  • Partner with key business units to implement the curricula and design of the company’s internal talent pipeline development program (GO2). This includes engagement in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of associates engaged in the lifecycle of these programs.
  • Collaborate with sales management on the talent management associate lifecycle and ensure company resources and best practices are utilized. Interact with the salesforce and Director of Salesforce Expansion to ensure smooth transition to the field.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of formal position descriptions for all company positions by coordinating position profiles with each department. Evaluate position descriptions and recommend changes, as appropriate.
  • Assist in development of training curricula and field of concentration for each position throughout the company. Assist in development and presentation of informational and training programs for associates to introduce new company policies and practices and new governmental regulations which affect company operations. Deliver orientation training on company policies and procedures to all new associates as well as those being promoted to management positions.
  • Assist with HRIS System Administration through a solid understanding of the system organization and set-up. Prepare communications to the field, train associates and managers on best practices, improve use of automation, and support implementation processes.
  • Review HR and Benefit data entered into HRIS for accuracy through bi-weekly audits.
  • Maintain and update the policy and procedure manual and associate handbook as needed. Provide training and interpretation to managers as well as associates on current policies and procedures. Recommend changes to existing policies to stay in compliance with governmental laws.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends for talent management, workforce planning, talent development and other HR areas.
  • Create, coordinate and develop materials to promote the capabilities, objectives and values of the company to current and prospective associates. This includes assisting in the development of articles for the newsletter and/or other forms of associate communications.
  • Monitor legal requirements and government reporting regulations changes under EEO/AAP, Wage/Hour, ERISA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA and other relevant statutes. Assist in monitoring exposure of the company. Prepares information requested or required for compliance. Assist in coordination and support of audits/reviews by government agencies of associate compensation, benefits and other employment practices. Coordinate responses to complaints/claims filed by associates or former associates with the EEOC, OFCCP, any state agencies or other agencies.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of new law and regulation in the human resources management area. Establishes and maintains an effective network of contacts within Human Resources departments in other companies in the industries and locations in which the company operates.
