The HR Generalist will play a key role in providing day-to-day HR support, managing HRIS records, ensuring compliance, and assisting with employee programs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 4 years of professional human resources work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Calendar and SharePoint.
  • Experience with an HRIS system such as Bamboo HR and Workday. (ADP and BambooHR preferred)
  • Operates with attention to detail, multi-task and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, records management, compensation changes, internal transfers and off-boarding for CA/FL employees.
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for employee HR issues, addressing concerns promptly, escalating to the SME.
  • Serve as HR Point of Contact for Leaves and accommodations for CA/FL. Initial intake review and escalate to HRBP as needed.
  • Act as HR Liaison between immigration attorneys and employees to facilitate documentation, communication and compliance.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of People tools; BambooHR and people systems, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the HRBP to support operationalizing initiatives such as employee engagement and company culture on site.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies by maintaining up-to-date employee records and assisting with audits for CA/FL employees.
  • Act as an initial point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, system navigation and procedures. Escalations to HRBP.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes for increased efficiency and improved employee experience in CA/FL.
  • Provide payroll support for FTE’s and Flex workers in CA/FL. Provide payroll date for payroll processing including Regular hours, Overtime hours, Leave of Absence Calculations, New Hire Paperwork, Conversions, Terminations to include PTO payments.
