About The Position

Canyon Creek Behavioral Health, a Universal Health Services facility, is seeking an HR Generalist for a temporary assignment not to exceed 90 days. This role will primarily oversee full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates, planning interview and selection procedures, and participating in career events. The ideal candidate will develop long-term recruiting strategies and build relationships with potential hires. Additional responsibilities include conducting New Hire Orientation, preparing and maintaining training packets, providing backup for HRIS personnel actions, maintaining personnel records and files, managing clinical licensed and training documentation, assisting in organizing employee activities and in-services, and demonstrating knowledge of state and federal employment laws and policy interpretation. This is a non-benefits eligible position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), such as iCIMS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a health care setting
  • HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional certification (SHRM-CP) highly preferred
