About The Position

HHM CPAs is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused HR Generalist to support the firm's human resources operations across payroll, benefits, compliance, employee records, and employee lifecycle administration. This role is responsible for helping ensure HR processes run smoothly and accurately while providing excellent support to employees and leadership. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing a wide range of HR responsibilities in a fast-paced professional environment. Requirements

  • Candidates should have 2-5 years' experience in human resources, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review daily and month-end time records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process payrolls for multiple entities.
  • Provide employee support for benefit inquiries.
  • Process benefit changes, qualifying life events, and open enrollment updates in each system of record.
  • Employee onboarding includes offer letter, pre-employment screening, adding employee to systems of record, and completing required state and federal filings.
  • Employee offboarding includes final pay calculations, separation notices per state requirements, and change of employee status in all applicable systems.
  • Coordinate the annual review process.
  • Coordinate periodic employee surveys.
  • Support the internal mentorship program.
  • Required reporting to state and federal agencies.
  • Stay current on employment law and HR compliance requirements.
  • Provide HR and staffing related reports to management.
