About The Position

Seyond is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist & Office Administrator to support core people operations and keep our Sunnyvale office running smoothly. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience across HR operations, recruiting coordination, payroll support, and/or office administration.
  • Working knowledge of HR records, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, and confidential employee information.
  • Strong organization, judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear, professional communication and a service-oriented approach with employees, candidates, and vendors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Sunnyvale.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for office and event setup.
  • Ability to occasionally support events outside standard hours.
  • Reliable transportation for occasional local errands and vendor visits.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with an HRIS, ATS, or payroll platform is preferred.
  • Experience in a startup or high-tech environment.
  • Familiarity with ADP, Workday, Greenhouse, or Lever.
  • Mandarin proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting activities, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, onsite logistics, and applicant tracking.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding logistics, including documentation, equipment, workspace setup, and employee orientation.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and workflows in the HRIS, including benefits and leave administration.
  • Support payroll processing and partner with Finance on reporting, reconciliation, audits, and recordkeeping.
  • Coordinate immigration-related documentation with employees, internal stakeholders, and outside counsel.
  • Prepare recurring HR reports and help improve people processes, data quality, and the employee experience.
  • Oversee daily office operations, including space, supplies, food, cleanliness, safety, and general functionality.
  • Serve as the onsite point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, facilities requests, mail, and deliveries.
  • Manage office vendors, services, equipment inventory, repairs, and maintenance within approved budgets.
  • Plan and support team events, company celebrations, community activities, and occasional after-hours setup.
  • Provide flexible administrative and logistics support for cross-functional projects as business needs evolve.
