The HR Generalist II supports core HR functions, including employee relations, workplace investigations, compliance, performance management, staffing, onboarding and offboarding, timekeeping, and employee engagement. The position has primary responsibility for temporary workforce management and HR support for the facility(s) and may be assigned to one of the facilities, while remaining cross-trained across HR functions. The HR Generalist II independently manages assigned HR and employee relations matters, evaluates workplace concerns, conducts investigations, applies established policies and employment practices, and recommends appropriate actions. The position provides guidance to employees and managers on performance, attendance, workplace conduct, corrective action, and other HR matters. The role identifies and addresses compliance concerns and ensures appropriate documentation and follow-up. Complex, high-risk, or legally sensitive matters are handled in partnership with or escalated to the HR Manager. Primary responsibilities and facility assignments may change based on business needs, organizational growth, workload, and cross-training requirements. Primary assignments establish areas of accountability but do not limit the position's responsibility to support other HR functions. Assignments may be modified based on business needs, workload, organizational growth, facility requirements, or cross-training needs.
