About The Position

This role is for an HR Generalist II who finds fulfillment in helping others navigate workplace challenges with empathy, clarity, and fairness. The position involves solving problems, analyzing patterns, and creating processes that improve the workplace. The HR Generalist II will be part of a mission-driven team making a difference in the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The primary focus will be on employee relations, including coaching managers, guiding employees, resolving conflicts, and conducting investigations. The role also involves being an expert on performance and behavior issues, policy interpretation, and workplace dynamics, as well as supporting broader HR functions like benefits, compliance, and engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field or in lieu of degree a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in employee relations and HR program administration
  • Strong knowledge of employment law
  • Experience conducting investigations
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in HRIS systems
