About The Position

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly efficient Human Resources Generalist II to provide operational and talent support. This role is heavily administrative and operational, with a strong emphasis on high-volume recruitment coordination, vendor and subcontractor onboarding, HR communications, Workday and payroll support, and class and compensation documentation. The candidate will work closely with the Recruiter, HR Business Partner, and broader HR team to ensure seamless hiring processes, compliant onboarding, accurate HR documentation, and timely HR service delivery across the organization.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of experience in progressive and strategic human resources administration.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • One year of graduate coursework in human resources management, business administration, or public policy from an accredited college or university may be substituted for each year of the experience requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience managing the full-cycle interview scheduling process for a recruitment department as a Recruitment or Talent Acquisition Coordinator.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to move with a sense of urgency in fulfilling high-priority tasks.
  • Previous experience coordinating an internship program and onboarding interns.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary administrative support to the Recruiter, coordinating high-volume interview scheduling across the organization.
  • Communicate directly with candidates, hiring managers, and vendors to provide timely updates and resolve scheduling or process issues.
  • Prepare accurate offer letters and onboarding packets.
  • Facilitate pre-hire tasks, including background screenings, Workday account creation, and documentation collection.
  • Support job postings, candidate movement tracking, and coordination with central HR.
  • Manage onboarding processes for vendor contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and communication throughout their onboarding and placement cycle.
  • Rotate monitoring of the HR inbox, responding to all inquiries within 24–48 hours.
  • Draft clear, policy-compliant mass messages and employee communications, documenting all organization-wide HR reminders for compliance and transparency.
  • Serve as trained backup for payroll and Workday operations when primary staff are out.
  • Maintain accuracy in entries, ensure compliance with fiscal policies, and support troubleshooting of basic HRIS matters.
  • Assist with delivery and refinement of onboarding processes, ensuring consistency with organizational standards.
  • Support coordination of onboarding sessions for new hires and managers.
  • Help maintain the first-year employee experience program, administering 30/60/90-day and probationary check-ins and supporting stay and exit interviews.
  • Compile feedback and prepare retention insights for HR leadership.
  • Assist the HR Business Partner by preparing documentation for class and compensation actions, including position creations, reclassification requests, in-range adjustments, and overlap documentation.
  • Organize and submit complete packets, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements.
  • Maintain LinkedIn job postings and create recruitment flyers for outreach.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, providing information on priority roles.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare narrative and statistical reports.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and uphold confidentiality in all HR-related processes.
  • Support ad-hoc HR projects and duties as assigned.
