About The Position

The HR Generalist II is responsible for assisting the Human Resources team in the management of employee relations topics, including benefit administration and leave coordination. This role partners with employees and management to implement various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. The position also involves conducting new hire orientations, administering the exit interview process, supporting the recruitment lifecycle, managing payroll processes, and assisting with immigration processes. Additionally, the HR Generalist II is responsible for maintaining personnel files, participating in HR staff meetings, and administering local wellness programs. A key part of the role includes data entry into HRIS systems like myHRSuite and Peoplesoft.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Organizational Development, Labor Relations, or related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of HR (i.e., working as a Recruiter, HR Specialist, HR Generalist, HR Manager, etc.)
  • Knowledge of government regulations and employment law.
  • Experience with an HRIS system and maintenance of related data and employee records
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management

Responsibilities

  • Partner with employees and management to implement various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
  • Assist the Human Resources team in the management of employee relations topics to include benefit administration and leave coordination (STD/FMLA/LTD, etc).
  • Conduct new hire orientation in coordination with the Global Talent Acquisition.
  • Administer the exit interview process including drafting exit paperwork, submitting terminations in the HRIS system and conducting exit interviews.
  • Support the recruitment process throughout the recruitment life cycle.
  • Manage the payroll processes for site, including but not limited to: payroll review/submission, paid time off processes, and FMLA case management.
  • Support immigration processes in coordination with the Immigration team.
  • Create and maintain personnel files.
  • Participate in HR staff meetings and attend other meetings / seminars in the organization as needed.
  • Administer and/or support local wellness programs; encourage participation and local buy-in.
  • Responsible for entry of employment data in HRIS systems, including myHRSuite HR Master Data module and Peoplesoft.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
