About The Position

Intermountain Health is searching for a top-tier Healthcare Executive Recruiter (officially titled HR Executive Talent Acquisition Manager) to help senior leaders thrive. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic advisor, managing the full-cycle recruitment of executive talent who share our mission of Helping People Live the Healthiest Lives Possible. The Executive Recruiter is responsible for: Leadership Pipeline Development & Talent Mapping: Developing proactive internal and external leadership pipelines for critical roles. Executive Selection Excellence: Improving the quality and consistency of leadership decisions. Leader Success Through Partnership: Supporting successful transitions and long-term impact. Succession Readiness & Talent Intelligence: Providing insight to strengthen leadership continuity. The HR Executive Talent Acquisition Manager serves as a strategic internal consultant to clients and manages the full cycle recruitment process (including sourcing, vetting, interviewing, and negotiating, with high levels of discretion) for a broad array of system executive and leadership positions. The healthcare executive recruiter serves as a trusted advisor to help develop and facilitate internal and external relationships with key functional experts and leaders to build, accelerate, and sustain career growth.

Requirements

  • Experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition/ Executive Recruitment, and/or Staffing.
  • Experience in a role requiring intermediate to advanced knowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits relevant to talent acquisition and candidate tracking, or continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lead and work independently with all levels of employees, management, & executive leadership.
  • Experience in a role requiring effective project management skills, a high degree of accuracy, and sound decision making with limited supervision.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with white glove recruitment touch.
  • “Get to yes” mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • A deep understanding of healthcare operations and proven experience with full cycle recruitment and/or search firm experience.
  • Prior experience building extensive, high-level professional networks & pipelines and the ability to form long-lasting relationships with both executives and candidates.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for dealing directly with C-suite stakeholders and top talent.
  • Proven ability to build proactive partnerships and drive the business process forward
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
  • Related human resources or talent acquisition certification.
  • Previous experience working with executive and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit through in-depth interviews and evaluations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and organizational culture to deliver customized recruiting solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide insights and strategic advice on talent acquisition.
  • Skillfully negotiate offers, compensation packages, and other employment terms with candidates and clients.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and organizational policies and guidelines.
  • Cross functional work with Talent Management, Learning and Development, and Diversity and Inclusion teams to assist in achieving organizational goals.
