About The Position

Eterniti is seeking a talented part-time People Director (50-60%) to join their dynamic team in Barcelona. This role is crucial for protecting and nurturing the company's culture and excelling at recruitment within an international group. The People Director will act as an HR Business Partner for all group companies, ensuring HR monitoring and compliance, managing the OKRs process, running employee surveys, and monitoring people dashboards. They will also be responsible for preparing board meeting materials related to people. Key responsibilities include being the guardian of the group's culture, leading HR and internal communication projects, and organizing the annual offsite. In talent acquisition and development, the role oversees recruitment and training, participates in onboarding and offboarding, delivers individual training sessions, and helps managers develop coaching skills. The People Director will manage two HR team members, complete HR integration with acquired companies, handle escalated HR matters, and manage HR tools like JazzHR and Skello. Involvement in other projects based on priorities and qualifications is also possible.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of solid senior HR / People experience, ideally across several entities or countries.
  • Prior experience at a fast-growing startup.
  • Strategic HR business partnering with a hands-on, get-things-done approach.
  • Natural people leader who builds trust and handles confidential matters with discretion.
  • Good working knowledge of labour and employment frameworks (France and Spain a plus).
  • Comfortable steering with data, dashboards and KPIs, and strong with digital tools.
  • Fluent French and English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work in the EU without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Act as HR Business Partner for all companies in the group.
  • Ensure HR monitoring and compliance.
  • Be accountable for the OKRs process, together with our Chief of Staff.
  • Run the annual employee survey and propose an annual HR plan based on the results.
  • Own, monitor and act on the people dashboards to steer performance across destinations.
  • Prepare the people slides for our board meetings.
  • Be the guardian of our group's culture.
  • Lead HR and internal communication projects (internal newsletters, AI trainings, Learning & Development, etc.).
  • Organise and host our annual offsite for the Eterniti and Emerald Stay team.
  • Oversee recruitment and training.
  • Participate in team members' onboardings and offboardings.
  • Deliver individual training sessions (e.g. presentation or communication skills).
  • Help managers develop their coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Manage two HR team members.
  • Complete the HR integration with the Jewels (acquired companies).
  • Handle key individual HR matters and HR situations that escalate.
  • Be accountable for our HR tools: JazzHR and Skello.
