About The Position

Penn State Human Resources has an exciting opportunity on our HR Data and Onboarding team! We are searching for a HR Data and Onboarding Associate specifically supporting our Data Team. This position offers a flexible work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Office 365 Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Knowledgeable and understanding of Human Resources and Payroll polices, Workday, and the WorkLion Portal

Responsibilities

• Process Human Resources and Payroll transactions into our Human Capital Management system, Workday
• Transactions processed in Workday include the following: terminations, job changes, graduate assistant appointments, compensation changes, one-time payments, supplemental pays, reappointments, add contingent workers, and background checks
• Ensuring timely processing in accordance with payroll deadlines for all employee and appointment types
• Review and verify employee records and personnel documentation to ensure compliance with University policies, state regulations, and federal requirements.
