About The Position

Under the direction of the HR Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing functions relating to team members, hiring and onboarding and team member relations. Authority Statement The Job Title listed empowers the Incumbent with the authority to execute all duties and responsibilities listed below. In the event of a conflict of authority, the Incumbent shall elevate to direct supervisor for resolution.

Requirements

  • Must be detailed oriented and understand the importance of accuracy
  • Must have strong clerical skills
  • Be computer literate
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration preferred
  • 2+years’ experience in HR Administration and office environment strongly preferred.
  • Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Good teamwork skills a must.
  • The ability to work with confidential information is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data
  • Bethe liaison with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.)
  • Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
  • Perform orientations, onboarding and update records of new hires
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
  • Assist with performance management procedures.
  • Coordinate training sessions, seminars, and employee engagement committees.
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
  • Assist with payroll and HR projects.
  • Support other assigned functions.
  • Keep current with the latest HR trends and best practice.
  • Other duties assigned as needed
