About The Position

We are seeking a organized, detail-oriented and proactive professional to support our daily HR operations. The ideal candidate has spent at least 2 years in a fast-paced administrative role and is ready to apply that foundational organization to a career in HR. You will be the "face" of the department for new hires and the "backbone" of our employee data management.

Requirements

  • 2 years of professional administrative experience (required)
  • 1–2 years of HR-specific experience (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (vlookups in Excel is a plus) and experience with HRIS platforms (Paycom experience a plus)
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to explain complex benefits or policies plainly
  • A proven track record of handling sensitive information with total discretion
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage job postings
  • Coordinate high-volume interview loops
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidate communications
  • Lead the "Day 1" experience for new hires, ensuring all paperwork (I-9s, tax forms) is compliant and equipment is ready
  • Take full ownership of the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring every employee change is tracked accurately and reports are pulled for leadership
  • Assist in organizing company-wide events, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives
  • Maintain digital and physical personnel files in accordance with labor laws and internal audit standards
  • Answer basic employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures
  • Manage sensitive documentation and provide general clerical support to the HR leadership team
