About The Position

Under limited supervision, the Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources, such as personnel records, and employee or labor relations. This role processes various information and other confidential forms and records, handles general employee information, and prepares reports. The position requires the ability to work in an open environment, handle regular interruptions, and multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization.
  • Excellent phone, verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to present in front of groups.
  • Must possess a high level of tact to deal with a variety of inquiries from employees.
  • Experience with SAP, Kronos, particularly Personnel Action (PA) Transactions required.
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong time management skills required—multi task.
  • Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
  • Good customer service skills/problem solving skills.
  • Confidentiality a must.
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Verification of employment eligibility must be documented for all new employees by the end of the third day of work.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or coursework in business administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Compiles information, prepares and processes a wide variety of personnel action forms containing confidential and sensitive information.
  • Performs high volume of data entry requiring extreme accuracy and the ability to follow up to ensure follow through.
  • Responsible for creating security badges for all corporate employees, Temps, and Contractors.
  • Maintains appropriate records, files (paper and electronic files), documentation, and information required for reporting and audit purposes on development programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
