About The Position

AG&E Associates is expanding and seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support our growing workforce. This role plays a critical part in delivering a smooth, compliant, and welcoming onboarding experience while also assisting with recruiting and early‑career programs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Professional communication skills and a customer‑service mindset
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR coordination, onboarding, or recruiting support
  • Experience working with an HRIS or applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Interest in growing within the HR profession

Responsibilities

  • Draft and send employment offer letters and new‑hire communications
  • Coordinate pre‑employment background checks and, when applicable, reference checks
  • Collect, verify, and upload new‑hire documentation into the HRIS
  • Coordinate I‑9 employment eligibility verification in compliance with federal requirements
  • Partner with IT and Operations to coordinate equipment, system access, and day‑one readiness
  • Schedule and facilitate new‑hire orientation and onboarding training
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires during the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience
  • Assist with recruiting coordination, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
  • Screen resumes and support hiring managers as needed
  • Help manage internship and early‑career programs, including coordination with schools and universities
  • Research, register for, and assist with career fairs and campus recruiting events
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in the HRIS
  • Conduct or assist with exit interviews and compile summary feedback
  • Notify appropriate departments of access changes for employee separations
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries, escalating sensitive matters as appropriate
  • Stay current on HR best practices, employment laws, and internal policies to support compliance
