About The Position

We are looking for a Human Resource Coordinator II at JBS located at our Mason, Ohio facility. The Human Resource Coordinator II will support day-to-day Human Resources operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in supporting plant leadership and hourly team members by ensuring accurate HR administration, consistent policy application, compliance with employment laws, and a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and comfortable working in both an office and production setting.

Requirements

  • Proven organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; process-driven mindset.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and make sound day-to-day decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling and workload demands.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two to three (2–3) years of progressive experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain personnel records for new employees and existing employees in SAP and Kronos.
  • Process and accurately record all employee status changes, including address changes, departmental transfers, wage increases, job changes, and terminations.
  • Maintain required HR postings and distribute employee communications, policy updates, and procedure manuals as needed.
  • Ensure recruitment, hiring, and selection processes comply with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform immigration-related functions, including verification of employment authorization, completion of I-9 forms, and maintenance of work eligibility documentation.
  • Assist with new-hire onboarding, including policy review and classroom training.
  • Support employee investigations in partnership with HR leadership.
  • Maintain all HR and employee records confidentially and in compliance with company policies and JBS HR Audit standards.
  • Prepare and submit daily attendance reports, hiring reports, and training documentation, as needed.
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, answering phones, and assisting employees with HR-related inquiries.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and respond to benefits-related questions.
  • Support HR projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • May assume other duties as assigned
