About The Position
Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. CMH's hospital facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital. CMH also supports Central Maine Medical Group, a primary and specialty care practice organization. Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services.
Requirements
- 3 years of Human Resources experience required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
- Strong computer and data entry skills required.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Processes new hire paperwork, background checks, coordinates drug screens and completes the I9/E-Verify.
- Processes status changes, term paperwork, promotions, and all other changes and get all appropriate approvals before processing in the HRIS.
- Maintains licensure and certification reports to maintain compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory standards.
- Processes evaluations and keeps personnel records up to date.
- Assists with hospital recognition programs and assists employees with general Human Resources questions.
